Sophie Platz advises companies with a particular focus on competition law and trademark law. She works nationally and internationally in this field. Her work includes both out-of-court advice and representation before courts and authorities in cases of conflict.

Sophie Platz studied law at the University of Bayreuth, specializing in "Intellectual Property and Competition". During her studies and following her first state examination, she gained practical experience in various areas of intellectual property, including working for a German independent institution enforcing competition law. She completed her legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Munich with stages in the IP team of an international law firm in Munich and London.

After being admitted to the bar in 2023, she initially worked as a lawyer in a law firm specializing in competition law in Frankfurt. She has been a lawyer at AMPERSAND since mid-2024.
